3 inch air intake kit

This 3-inch air intake system is designed to improve airflow efficiency for turbocharged Saab 900 applications.

Compared to the factory intake setup, the larger 3-inch piping and open air filter allow the turbocharger to breathe more freely, improving airflow capacity and reducing intake restriction.

To further improve intake air quality, we designed a dedicated partition panel to isolate the intake system from hot air generated by the radiator. This setup allows the air filter to draw cooler fresh air directly from the lower air dam opening of the front bumper spoiler.

With improved airflow and lower intake temperatures, the system helps increase engine performance and turbo response without the need to raise boost pressure further.

Waste charged air is recirculated back into the intake system, following the same configuration as the original factory specification.

Both the Simota high-flow sport air filter and aluminum alloy blow-off valve are included in the kit.

This makes it an ideal upgrade for daily driven cars as well as performance-oriented builds, especially in warmer climates.

For the best overall performance and thermal management, this intake system is highly recommended to be installed together with our front mounted intercooler kit.
